What I liked of Bogota was it's super dystopian urban landscape
Bogota is a city with a perpetual steady climate. Fast variations from sunny to rainy in few seconds all year long.
Lots of architectural variety
and great food.
Walking around Macarena one can admire local graffiti art.
This trip was made because I was invited by Maria Ines Rodriguez
to participate with my gallery Gloria Maria,

in the independent projects of the ArtBo fair

The curatorial idea was "City as a laboratory" and I showed few works
from my monuments both imaginary and readymade.
I loved the work of the late Monica Restrepo introduced to me by Lorenzo Giangrandi.
At night Bogota is not scary anymore and it has great things to do.
I visited the amazing Gold Museum
Once you go out from Bogota you start going down the mountains
the temperature is rising
and a jungle appears.
We reached the house of artist Camilo Villegas in Anapoima.
a perfect retreat on a hill slope inside the jungle.
Camilo and Natalia (Valencia) made me a great tour around to check colombian flora
from a typical Mango tree
to the very lush coffee one
arriving finally to the unsuspected Coca tree!
(coca tea boxes can be bought from everywhere).
Warm and humid
Discoveries everywhere
variety of unexpected noises and beautiful smells.
