Revolutionary graffiti in Luxor

IMG_2883

As we were walking a street in Luxor today, I noticed  these beautiful street graffiti. The wall actually was the School of Fine Arts of Luxor. The graffiti are stencil portraits of heroes of the 25th of January revolution combined with popular symbols. I steped in the academy and actually I was told that a group of students used the wall of their school to make these.

The future according to Arthur C. Clark

"We could be in instant contact with each other, wherever we may be, where we can contact our friends anywhere on earth, even if we don’t know their actual physical location. It will be possible in that age, perhaps only 50 years from now, for a man to conduct his business from Tahiti or Bali just as well as he could from London…. Almost any executive skill, any administrative skill, even any physical skill, could be made independent of distance. I am perfectly serious when I suggest that one day we may have brain surgeons in Edinburgh operating on patients in New Zealand."

Tell us your story of your life in 140 characters.
Writing was not enough. Art was not enough. Cities was not enough. Politics and business was not comprehensible enough. All my life I’ve tried to link different worlds.

You have expanded curating as far as urban planning? what's next?
The next for me is food. We are about to establish a food lab in Stockholm so that chefs, artists and writers can make the new.

Who is your hero?
It is always and will always be Marcel Duchamp. But right now I am also fascinated by the vulgar intelligence of Lady Gaga.

When I'm in doubt, I repaint my apartment, then rearrange the furniture, then move, then repaint, & repeat, an endless cycle, #storyofmylife

Would you marry your boyfriend and why?
Logically, a society that forbids certain of its citizens from marrying while encouraging others to marry compulsively and extravagantly is quite decadent, and marriage itself has become meaningless. Equality requires much more than simple appropriation. ...but would I marry Xavier? Hell Yes! #romancedefeatslogic

On the Silver Couch: Priscilla Tea

priscilla by angeloplessas
Artist Priscilla Tea
- How would you describe your paintings;
Images that are scattered between nature and the internet. They are landscapes and spaces conveying an "echo" of digital.

- Which is your favorite city?
Los Angeles. I feel because it is a city/ a combination that time is being extended and suspended at the same time.

What do you like best and what less in the art world;
I do not like anything.
