A replica of my piece DoubleFaced.com is made as a sculpture on Second Life for the project of artist Fabiana de Barros, Fiteiro Cultural which in this edition is created specifically for Second Life. Invited artists include Andreas Angelidakis, Pablo Leon de la Barra, Michel Favre, Herve Graumann, Maria Papadimitriou etc. A small cocktail party is happening there right now..

Gay exhibition cancelled in Milan

'Vado Retro"—an exhibition with 150 works about art and homosexuality, from Da Goeden to Pierre et Gilles—has been cancelled at Milan's Palazzo della Ragione. Protests were made over "blasphemous" sculpture of the pope made by the Milan artist Paolo Schmidlin. The sculpture, Miss Kitty, features a likeness of the pope dressed in pantyhose. The piece is not one of my favourite but it is surely a cuter version of the monstrous and corrupted face of the Pope. The show is going to Naples, let's see what happens there. Source Artforum
