Just came back from a lovely weekend on the island of Hydra. Apart from being a beautiful island Hydra is always a friendly place for contemporary art. This time Adelina Von Furstenberg (a frequent visitor of Hydra) showed me one exhibition that she curated on another island called Isola Madre on Lake Maggiore. Isola Madre (Mother Island) has a botanical Garden where from the beginning of the 18th century they have been cultivated exotic species coming from all over the world. One of the pieces I liked of the show is Robert Wilson's Untitled sculpture. I attach 2 photos of it. One before a lightning that stroke the tree behind it and one photo after it.
